The Luck Factor and GaryVee

Another enlightening talk by Gary V. The interesting part was when someone asked about how much luck played a role. Gary responded by more or less saying it’s not about luck but about putting yourself out there. It reminded me of a book I read a while back called “The Luck Factor” which had this premise:

lucky people simply possess four basic psychological traits unlucky people don’t: the ability to maximize chance opportunities, to listen to “gut feelings,” to expect good fortune and to see the bright side of bad luck

Get yourself out there, do what you’re passionate about and be tenacious… and the outcome is good things can happen directly and indirectly … Gary calls it hustling, but with all of the new technologies out there to engage, it also could be known as tools to optimize the luck factor.
